    running xp pack 3 beep on soyo dragon mb amd athlon tm xp 2000+
    beeps on power up and random power failour and sometimes CPU runs at half speed need good place to start and what about some of these system clean up like PC tools etc.

    I think the Soyo Dragon motherboards use the Award or AMI BIOS'. Try the beep code link and maybe they'll help:

    Award BIOS:

    Can you specify if there is any error messages and if it's 3 short beeps or 3 long beeps?

      when i go to turn it on it has one long beep then fails to boot. but when i try agian it boots up.
