Does Windows 95 or Windows 98 software work in Windows Me?

Windows Me is an upgrade to Windows 9x and most software for Windows 95 and Windows 98 works with Windows Me. We say 'majority' because software such as an antivirus program or any other utility designed for Windows 9x don't work (or work well) in Windows Me. The file structure and configuration files have change slightly in Windows Me. However, games, programs, and other software still work in Windows Me. If the software does not work, it should have an update allowing it to work.
