DBA may refer to any of the following:
1. Short for database administrator, database analyst or database architect, DBA is the individual responsible for maintaining, analyzing, or updating a computer database.
2. Short for doing business as and also known as fictitious business name. DBA is a term used in legal or business writing. DBA helps describe an individual who runs a sole proprietor company not using his or her own name. The DBA helps establish legal ownership of that name.
