Ergonomics requirements for office work with VDTs (visual display terminals). The normative addendum to ISO 9241-3 replaces the informative Annex C of ISO 9241-3, it describes a visual perception compliance route. In contrast to the compliance with physical requirements given in the body of 9241-3, which display manufacturers may follow to demonstrate conformance of their product with ISO 9241-3. The test consists of the measurement of two variables: the scaled attribute visual comfort and visual performance in a letter search task using pseudo-text.
