TRON
TRON is a science fiction film directed by Steven Lisberger and released on July 9, 1982, and is famous for being one of the first movies to incorporate computer-generated imagery. It tells the story of a man who is trapped inside a computer system. He must fight his way through several challenges that are like being inside a video game.
A sequel to TRON called TRON: Legacy was released on December 17, 2010. It's a movie about a person (Sam) who is haunted by the disappearance of his dad, a video game developer. Sam is drawn to Flynn's arcade, where he is pulled into a cyber world, where his father was trapped for the last 20 years.
The latest TRON, TRON: Ares was released on October 6, 2025, a movie about a highly sophisticated program, Ares, that's sent from the digital world into the real world.
