How do I map a FTP address in Windows?

Answer:

If you find yourself having to frequently visit an FTP address, follow the instructions listed below.

  1. From the Desktop open My Network Places
  2. On the left bar click "Add a Network Place"
  3. Go through the Add Network Place Wizard.  When asked for an Internet or network address, enter the FTP address. For example: ftp://ftp.computerhope.com.
  4. If the FTP address requires a user name and password, uncheck the "Log on anonymously" box.  Otherwise, keep it checked and complete the remainder of the wizard steps.
