ARCnet

Short for Attached Resource Computer network, ARCnet was developed in 1977 by Datapoint Corporation and used coaxial cables capable of transferring up to 2.5MB per second, supports up to 256 computers and supports a maximum frame size of 516 bytes.

ARCnetPlus is a newer version of ARCnet capable of transferring up to 20 MB per second.
