Expect

A software tool for automating interactive applications such as telnet, ftp, passwd, fsck, rlogin, tip, etc. that was developed by Don Libes. Expect is a great tool for creating scripts to help test a network appliance or perform a commonly performed task in one of the programs mentioned above.
