A disk storage drive introduced by Iomega in 1995 that was capable of storing between 1GB and 2GB on a single disk. The Jaz drive connects internally to the computer using either IDE or SCSI and can also be connected externally using the Parallel Port or SCSI. In the picture to the right, is an example of what the Iomega Jaz drive looks like. With competing technologies and cheaper media, the Jaz drive was completely discontinued in 2002.
