Nettop

Linutop nettop computerA term coined by Intel that describes a type of desktop computer that is much cheaper often ranging between $250 and $600 US. These computers are capable of being so much cheaper by being much smaller, using a solid state drive, and often using a variant of Linux. To the right is an example picture of the Linutop, a great example of a nettop computer.

These computers are a great solution for users who just want a basic computer to get onto the Internet with and do basic applications such as a word processor.
