Spider
Alternatively referred to as a crawler, a spider is a software program or script written to automatically query a web page or other Internet data and parse through all the information and collect what it has been written to collect. For example, Internet search engines often use some a spider to gather keywords from web pages and sort that data so users can find information on the Internet through their search engine.
