Spider

Also known as a crawler, a spider is a software program or script written to automatically query a web page or other Internet data and parse through all the information and collect what it has been written to collect. For example, Internet search engines often use some type of a spider to gather keywords from web pages and sort that data so users can find information on the Internet through their search engine.
