Task switching

Task switching allows the user to move between different, currently running programs without closing them. For example, a user may have an Internet browser currently displayed, then use task switching to change over to their open word processor. Users running Microsoft Windows can do this with the Alt+Tab or Windows key+Tab keyboard shortcuts.
