Verbose
1. In computing, refers to a mode or setting that displays or gets extended information. Below is an example of the MS-DOS dir command and a listing of a file in non-verbose mode and then in verbose mode.
dir tweakui.exe
TWEAKUI EXE 113,040 01-01-97 10:31p Tweakui.exe
dir tweakui.exe /v
TWEAKUI EXE 113,040 114,688 01-01-97 10:31p 01-01-97 A
