I have an old IBM laptop running Win2000. My wifi card is a Cisco Aeronet 340. When at home it connects well to my router because the router's address and key is written into its home profile. But when travelling the card does not search for existing wifi sites even when only 30 ft from the transmitter. What do I need to do to get the card searching for sites. This card and software is old and no longer supported by Cisco and I am still learning how to set it up.
