i dont have the admin password to log into my computer

a member of my family have just given me a computer with windows xp when i start it up there are 2 user accounts one is administrator and the other guest the administrator is locked with a password and nobody can seem to remember it i am unable to download flashplayer or access anything on the computer through using guest HELP what can i do to reset password and log in as administrator?

The MS method is Bunk! 

There is a very simple little program that can remove the Windows logon passwords in just a few seconds.
It does have to be run from a DOS boot disk however.

I'll share it with anyone who can prove they have a legal right to use it.

What I would do, seeing as the computer is used, is reinstall windows. Make a fresh start and wipe out all the old stuff the previous owner had on there.
