    partition table all wrong

    I Have an Acer x1930 with win7 home premium 64bit
    I cannot boot it up
    it keeps saying reboot and select proper bootdevice
    in bios boot is marked X and there is something called efi device as first boot (what is that?) Somebody has tampered with my machine.

    If the machine is still under warranty you should contact the vendor of maker of the computer. It just might be some kind of failure.
    Why do you think somebody tampered with your computer? It takes more than a little bit of messing around to stop a PC from booting - unless the person did nit on purpose - and not by accident.
