    Which software do you use?
make sure you choose MP3 format more than Audio Disk...

Don't Burn it as a "Track Disk" it will only let you burn like 20 Tracks top.

You need to make a MP3 Disk that will allow as many as the 700 Meg limit on the CD.

Try getting your hands on Nero. There are many ways you can buy it or use something like Limewire (but that's wrong and i didn't give you the idea)

Ether way it is a much better CD burning tool

Nero 5 is not compatible with WinXP-SP2 if you're running that. You need iirc, v6603 at least.

Make sure you opt to burn a "Data Disk" in Nero. If you choose "Audio Disk", it will simply convert the MP3s again.

You can get Nero Version 6 for free (£2.99 postage only) from here  http://www.savapoint.com/savapoint/search.php
It's a genuine offer and genuine version with full installation key supplied. Can't get better than that.

This may come as a shock .......but I just checked one of my machines and it's XP with SP2 and Nero 5 burns cds just fine...... If fact I just did one for my wifes car ....... ( there were 18 titles ....... about 680mb )
A Blank cd only holds 700 mb .

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
