Sidewinder, I always thought it was after the missile.  Need to redefine you now (not to self: Sidewinder is not going to explode)
I knew Dilbert's story and I guessed GX1.
Carbon, I guessed it'd be something like that.  Interesting story, I have a funny story about carbon dioxide too.  But that's for another time.
JohnK, I guessed that too, and 2k I thought would be because you used Win2K.
Had no idea about Zylstra or soybean though, or honvetops - interesting, all of them.
And I sort of guessed chriscool9 and Raptor.

I made the mistake of creating my username about 10 years ago and I've been stuck with it ever since.  Basically, it's my name abbreviated: Chris Bernard Matthews.  Exciting, no?  As I'm sure you can figure, most people assume that my name is Matt and that I'm a CB-radio enthusiast.

For some strange reason (I think my brain was just dumbing it down for me) I always pronounced it Hon-ven-tops...

Funny, I've always pronounced it with a "ven" too.  But I pronounced it "Ho-ven-tops".

Know what, so did I at first.
And then I thought it was honventops.
How odd.

Yeah, I thought your name was Matt.  Wasn't sure what CB stood for though, I may have eventually thought of CB radio if given enough time.

Dilbert is my favorite cartoon strip. Originally, when guest posting was allowed, I used my real name as my username, but I realized that if I wanted to stick around, Timothy_Bennett was a dumb name. So, I found a moniker I liked, and it kinda stuck.

When I hit 3700 posts, I'm going to temporarily use my real name and a picture of me as my avatar to celebrate for that day. :)

Do it at 3200....we won't have to wait so long.

      Your just special, Honvetops...
CBMatt isnt a bad user name. (I dont think so)...
I remember when I figured out Dilberts name. It was while sending him a PM, and it shows the login name instead of the display name.

Nice idea for a thread, however since "Computer Hope admin" doesn't really have any real meaning behind it. I decided to log into the alt, which still isn't that original. But Techno is a name I've always used for an alias in chat and online. Of course the name comes from my love of Techno music. ;)

Only use the alt to test various things on the forums. :) Probably 99% of those posts are just test message posts. :)

It's to celebrate NOT being an egghead anymore. And getting the Green highlight in the user list. :)
