MS Office Professional work with Vista?

I am thinking of purchasing a laptop as a 2nd computer. I have MS Office XP professional. Would I be able to load that on a laptop w/Vista? Are they compatible? I also need to go from Office 2002 to 2003. Is this an upgrade? Or would I need the full program? Any suggestions on where to get an inexpensive copy of either? I am going back to school and trying to keep costs down. Thanks for any and all help/suggestions.

You can install Office 2003 on Vista, so I'm assuming everything after that will work as well

Don't install Vista on your laptop until you are 100% there is decent driver support.
