    jpokert.......what operating system is on the pc you want to load sound drivers onto ? I dont understand why you would get an A: prompt when you put a cd in the cd-drive .....

    A: is usually refering to the 3.25" floppy drive .

    Did you have to install a new sound card in this pc ?

       jpokert.....When you go into your control panel and click on add new hardware .......do you have the installation wizard box open ? If it does it will ask you if you have a installation disk ..if so press "cancel" ,,,then A list of the hardware installed should appear.....then select your sound card from the list and you should be prompted to place the install cd in the cd drive ....then follow the instructions .
