I have a compaq presario which was originally Me but i upgraded to XP but the problem doesn't have any connection with that. Both of the drives that came with my computer don't work, they won't evan recognize. Its not that they don't read the disks its that they won't evan open. Sometimes they will appear and stay ten when I restart it will say "Drive F was upgraded to ________bytes" then they'll be gone.
