I adjusted the settings for my graphics card over and over... especially the antialiasing settings. It took forever to figure out how to get to them. That did improve the quality slightly... althought still not acceptable.
If anyone has more knowledge about graphics cards, is there a setting that would improve the image more?
Here are the settings for my graphics card and the options it provides:
Anisotropic filtering: Application controlled, Off, 2x,4x, 8x, 16x
