More BSODing
« on: April 09, 2009, 02:35:13 PM »
I RMAed my gpu and got another one.   I got one BSOD then reinstalled drivers and got this weird one saying:
***Hardware Malfunction
Please call your hardware vendor for support
*** The system has halted**

Then after that I got another BSOD.  Both the BSODs said something about the device or display driver might be bad.  When it BSODs the whole screen turns light blue then goes into the BSOD.  I really dont know what to do.

    Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder.
If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach zipped file to your next reply.

    Do you have dumps enabled?

    1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel (Start>Control Panel in Vista).
    2. Double-click System.
    3. Click (Advanced system settings link in Vista, then --->)the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
    4. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (64k).

It seems to be good so far.  60fps constant on has high as possible settings on cod4 while folding.  It cant run gta4 on all highest settings though cause that game is weird
