Print Sew.com Secure Documents access trouble
    « on: November 17, 2009, 09:26:12 AM »
I have had an ongoing problem with printing purchased patterns at:www.printsew.com which is really annoying.  I am attaching the messages below.  I can log-in, contact tech support, browse the catalog with no problem.  However, if I try to print a pattern, I am refused (see messages).  I have to request permission every time.  I'm not talking about the "One-time Authentication" for a new pattern.  This happens even when the pattern has been printed before. I have asked Tech-Support" what I need to disable, plug-in, add-on, remove in order to access the print function.  To date, no answer.  I was informed this week that the bar to my printing had been removed.  Today, I cannot print.  I have an e-machine, Xp-home (32-bit), and have tried every browser I can find.  Does anyone have a suggestion?  If this is a double post, I apologize, but I could not find the previous message, which was refused as the attachments were too large.  Cordially, but again confused,  Nehmah  PS: Have asked others who use the system, and they don't have this problem.  N

What version of IE are you using?

To me it looks like there server can't read the cookies on your machine.

Try to go though the internet options screen and set the security and privacy tabs to default.

      Good afternoon Spoiler,
Thanks for answering my question. I checked on the following: IE8/Firefox3.5/Chrome/Safari 4.0.4./ and followed your advice.  I even checked which cookies are shown for the website, where I could find the listing.  I am still unable to print a pattern.   I have not heard back from PS.  Any other ideas or am I stuck with this?  I am about to forego the convenience of on-line storage and just buy the paper patterns. I hate to give up.  There must be an answer.  Odds are it will be a very basic reason.  I don't know what it is.... Cordially, Nehmah  P.S. will it help if I attach a list of the cookies? N

Is this a stand alone machine? Or part of a network?

What kind of router are you using?

Good afternoon Spoiler, this is a stand-alone.  As to router, if you can give me an idea where the information is, I will let you know.  I'm semi-literate here.  I can use software; know what a program is; understand binary theory, after a fashion;  but when I get past the hard drive, motherboard (if they are even used anymore) and modem, I'm lost.  I just found out last month that my D drive, is actually a partitioned portion of my hard drive (what I was calling the C drive.)  Cordially, Nehmah

Last night tried to find a router listed under hardware, but no luck.  Could it be I don't have one? Nehmah (11-19-09)
