Use CD burning software to burn CDs, media players to play media.

Bring up the Task Manager and see what's running.

Which operating system are you using? Have you been able to burn using the Media Player before?

Yes I burned all the time, it seems now as if it just broke down. I never drop it, it sits in one place it just stop working. All the audio files say may not fit.

Which Operating System are you using? When did this start? Have you made any changes to your system recently? Do you have virus and Spyware protection?

Hmmmm... *censored*!
What do you mean when you say "All the audio files say may not fit"?
Do you have other burning software such as Nero? If so, does that function correctly?

Not good. Do this... Click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore. Pick the most recent day when you know the drive worked, and click on a time. Click on Next. You will now see a confirmation screen. Make sure it all looks good, and click on finish. The computer will now restart. Shortly before restarting you will see a progress meter. Please note that this meter (depending on your system) might run pretty slowly. Just let it run its course. Let us know if this solves the problem once the computer restarts.

Run System Restore. Usually that solves these kind of problems assuming it's a ssoftware issue.
