New law may even apply to owners of home Wi-Fi routers.
« on: February 23, 2009, 04:06:31 PM »
No, no really. Here is the blurb.
Quote
A proposed U.S. law would require Internet service providers to store information about every user of their services and keep that data for at least two years, in a bid to crack down on Internet-based predators and child pornographers.
The language of the law may even apply to owners of home Wi-Fi routers, according to a digital rights attorney.

I will never happen. -Right? :P

They aren't kids though! All Ewes, All the time!

Besides this has been the law in a lot of places- I believe the UK has a similar responsibility clause.

Not sure if the link I posted is the same exact link you copied from but when copying sections of a news article and posting on the forum please make sure to also post a reference link.
