Where can I find abandonware and game emulators?

Abandon warez, also known as Abandonware is software developed several years ago that is no longer being produced or sold and is considered by many as abandoned. Like abandonware console and other game emulators are programs that simulate old console systems. They can play gaming titles found in old arcades, and on the Nintendo Entertainment system, Sega Genesis, Atari, etc.

While this may be a gray area, most of these programs are still protected by Copyright laws and therefore considered illegal without purchase. Therefore, we cannot provide users with steps, help, or web pages that contain either abandonware or game emulators.
