Ko-fi is a company that provides a source for creators to ask their users for donations politely. When users sign up for a Ko-fi account, they are given a link to send to fans and followers, asking them to "buy me a coffee." Donations start at $3.00.
Ko-fi is similar to other donation-based sites in the respect that it's free to use. However, with Ko-fi, there are no fees associated with the donations. If you upgrade to a Gold membership, it removes any ads associated with your account. You can also have exclusive rewards for your subscribers and change the wording "coffee" to anything you want, like "buy me a pizza."
Ko-fi is pronounced koh-fee, and "rhymes with no-fee."
