Network media usually refers to the various means of communication and the transmission of information over computer networks, such as the Internet. Text, audio, images, and video are all included forms of network media that are exchanged between devices. However, it should be noted that there are physical network media, too. For example, the coaxial, fiber-optic, and twisted pair Ethernet cables used for data transmission.
