  • Developer and programmer of PTP (PET Transfer Protocol), also known as Punter or Old Punter (c. 1981). Designed for the Commodore PET computer, PTP was a file-transfer protocol that improved on the reliability and speed of Xmodem, but was superseded by the later protocols Ymodem and Zmodem.
  • Created an electronic BBS (bulletin board system) called PETBBS.
  • Created Wordpro, a professional word processing package originally available on the PET and later transferred to the Commodore 64.
