How do I find the BIOS version of my video card?

A PCIe video card.Many users have asked us how to determine the version of BIOS that is utilized by their video card. To proceed, select you version of Windows from the list below and follow the instructions.

Windows 8 and 10 users
Windows Vista and Windows 7 users
Windows XP users

Windows 8 and 10 users

  1. Press the Windows Key, type Display settings, and then press Enter.
  2. Locate and click on Advanced display settings.
  3. In the bottom of the window that appears, click Display adapter properties.
  4. The BIOS version is located in the middle of the window that appears (shown below).

Windows Vista and Windows 7 users

  1. Right-click on the Desktop and click Personalize.
  2. Click Display in the bottom left-hand corner of the Window.
  3. Click the Change display settings on the left column.
  4. Click the Advanced settings link.
  5. The BIOS version is located in the middle of the window that appears (shown below).

Windows XP users

  1. Right-click on the Desktop and click Properties.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
  4. Click the Adapter tab to view BIOS information. Other more advanced tabs may also be shown if you're using a Nvidia or ATI video card, clicking on these tabs may also give you additional information.
