Ok, That card has both VGA and DVI Ports as well as others. I can only assume you moved the cable from the on board connection to the Connection on the card, which would be VGA as that is the connection on the onboard stuff. You have enough Power Supply for the card, so that is not an issue. It is obviously a graphics issue. The card is PCIe x16 2.1, but should be backwards compatible with PCIe x16 1.0 ( I think that is the slot in the eMachines ) and you would lose very little performance wise. I would recheck the cable connections and make sure they are snug. It is possible that the card could be DOA as it does happen, but rarely. Make sure the cable is plugged frimly and secure into the port on the card and on the monitor.
