Considering some of the people we get in here sometimes, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were confused by the phrase "original poster".

I dont think either would make sense to a new user...

I can say I really dont like the color of it though.

I would recommend:
#4E7DD1 (Medium blue)
#2153AA (Bit darker)
#6E94B7 (The color that ComputerHope uses for dark blue... since its part of the current color scheme, it would probably work the best)

Hey - I thought that I handled it pretty well with this response: "OP =/= Old People, LOL!  OP = Original Poster, i.e., the person who started the topic. Actually, now that we identify the original poster, I guess I should refer to them as the "Topic Starter," or, TS, or, in this case, Susan, who seems to be AWOL. :)"

We could just list it as PEBKAC... since, that is often quite fitting.

What happened to the in-post scrollbar?
Pages are being stretched when we have large images now.

    Example:

Not sure. Assuming one of the files I modified to fix this was reverted back after the last update. I'll look into it. Added to list.

As can be seen some of the things on the to-do list have been completed.

    • Cursor will automatically go to the Subject when creating new message.
    • The Subject was removed from the reply window.
    • Cursor will automatically go to the Message when replying.
    • In the new post and reply screens the message window will grow as your message grows to help allow users to see their full posts without having to scroll.

Let me know if there are any issues, I can already see one that needs to be adjusted and that's fixing the bottom white space seen on the message window.

    Edit: Subject box put back.

I actually don't like this very much.  Is there any way to add an option so we can choose whether or not we have this feature?

And I have to admit that I miss the Subject portion, but that's not too big of a deal.  It should only take a day or two for me to adjust to the change.

I agree... I don't really like dynamically expanding post boxes.. but, I certainly can live with it.
As for the subject, I can certainly live without it.. but, making it go away prevents moderators from modifying posts and changing the topic.

We can still change it by using the Quick Edit rather than the normal Modify.
