      ARGH!  So yea, now I'm looking at a super blocky screen (no video card drivers yet) and still the same problem.  The IP IS different however I still cannot connect to the internet.  >:(

        Not sure why, not sure how but I am now posting from my desktop PC.  Gonna update it then try going from the router as usual.  Seems like it is updating HELLA slow though.  Thanks again Broni!
