OK...well can you remove the http:// part of the url tag? Watch. It will automatically add http:// to the url even if it already contains it.

It shouldn't be adding extra code into the URL tags like the examples you showed. How exactly are you typing these in?

e-mail testUpdate: I believe I know the causes for your issues. When doing the BBC tag for URL it should not start with quotes otherwise it'll think it's not starting with a proper URL and will add http your tag should look like the below example.
[url=http://www.google.ca]Google[/url]
As far as the mailto, I believe it's doing that because of the same situation, seeing that it doesn't see the http: it adds it. I believe there may be an alternative bbc for mailto, but need to look it up since It's not coming to me. Additionally just simply typing in the URL address without the BBC code will work and HTML code is also allowed.
Update2: Guess there isn't a BBC tag in doing this or not that I could find. However, you could do a HTML a href tag with a mailto and that'd work.
