DS may refer to any of the following:

ds definition

1. Short for drive select, DS is a jumper setting found on disk drives that is similar to the more commonly used master jumper setting. When a computer hard drive has its jumper set to DS, it tells the computer that it's the only drive connected to the cable or should be used as the primary/master drive.

2. Short for double-sided, DS is a type of floppy diskette. See our double sided disk definition for further information.
