The Google Data Liberation Front is a team of engineers whose job is to make it easier for users to move their data away from Google. More specifically, they help people who want to stop using one or more Google products with transferring relevant data to a different platform or service.

The first project completed by this team is called Google Takeout, which is compatible with 27 different Google services, including Gmail, Google Home, Google My Maps, and Google Photos.
