How to use the Ctrl+F3 keyboard shortcut

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Ctrl key, and while continuing to hold, press the F3 key.

Note

If you're using a laptop or keyboard with an fn key, you may need to press the fn key first or press Ctrl+Fn+F3 for this keyboard shortcut to work.

Ctrl+F3 in Adobe Dreamweaver

In Adobe Dreamweaver, press Ctrl+F3 to show or hide the Properties window.

Ctrl+F3 in Microsoft Excel

In Excel, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F3 to open the Name Manager. In the Name Manager, you can create, edit, and delete any Excel names. Once a name is created, you can use the keyboard shortcut F3 to insert any name.

Ctrl+F3 in Microsoft Word

In Microsoft Word, Ctrl+F3 copies the selected text or graphic into Spike. Once everything is copied into Spike that you want, use the Ctrl+Shift+F3 to paste Spike's content.
