Strange....So you download this to desktop:http://z2.invisionfree.com/ComputerHelp/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=4141692Right Click the .reg file on the desktop and go to Merge.If there is no Merge, Right Click and go to Properties and can you tell us what it is?
Interesting...RIght Click the file and go to Properties.Where it says 'Opens With', click Change.Click Browse and go to C:\WINDOWS\ and find Regedit or Regedit.exe.Click OK and OK.Now try to open it.

I agree with Broni.So you've successfully merged the registry file and restarted, still no sound?
