DAC may refer to any of the following:

1. Short for Digital-to-Analog Converter, DAC is a device that reconstructs analog voltage waveforms from an incoming sequence of binary digits. Essentially, it takes data and converts it to an analog signal.

2. When referring to Audio, DAC is also short for Digital-to-Analog Converter and is the process of converting a digital signal into an analog audio signal.

3. In computer security, Discretionary Access Control (DAC) is a configuration that allows users to change the permissions of other users.
