Wd may refer to any of the following:
1. Short for working directory, WD is the directory where you are currently "located" when using your operating system's command line. It is the default directory for opening and creating new files, for example, unless you explicitly specify another directory in the path of the file name. See our current directory page for more information.
2. WD is also short for the Western Digital company.
3. Short for working draft, WD is the first stage of creating a document.
