Bookmarks bar

Referred to as the Favorites bar in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the Bookmarks bar is a toolbar found in Internet browsers that give the user quick access to their most important bookmarks.

As seen in the above picture, the bottom row of the picture is an example of the Bookmarks bar. By default, the bookmarks bar may not be shown, to enable or disable the bookmarks bar follow the steps below.

Enabling the Bookmarks bar or Favorites bar

  1. Click View from the File menu. If you don't see the File menu try pressing the Alt key.
  2. Click Toolbars.
  3. Make sure there is a check next to Bookmarks bar or Favorites bar.
  4. Once visible you can edit any of the bookmarks by right-clicking the bookmark and clicking Edit or Properties. To change the placement of where they are shown on the bar click-and-drag the bookmark to where you want them.
