Released in 2007, Greenshot is free software for taking screenshots on a Windows or macOS computer. You can capture specific areas, a selected window, or the entire screen of your computer. Once you capture a screenshot, you can use Greenshot to resize the image and add vector shapes like text and marquees. You can also automatically share it through websites like Imgur.
Greenshot for Windows is free to download from the official website. The macOS version, however, costs $1.99 and is available through the Apple App Store.
