When writing in HTML, the <ruby> tag is an inline element used to designate a ruby annotation on a web page. It is useful when you want to show visitors how to pronounce East Asian characters. In HTML tags, attributes dictate certain aspects of an HTML element. Attributes are made up of a name and value pair. While the <ruby> tag does not have any unique attributes, it does utilize all of the standard attributes.
