Poggers

Originating from an emote on the streaming platform Twitch, poggers or pog is an Internet slang term used to express enthusiasm, mostly among online gamers. The original emoji, known as PogChamp, was a screenshot of a streamer known as Gootecks making an excited face. Because of the emoji's longstanding popularity, people began to use the phrase to react to any feat of accomplishment in gaming or more general use.

Although the phrase and image are still frequently used among Internet communities, the official emoji was removed by Twitch in 2021 following a controversy involving the subject.
