Screen Time

Released in the iOS 12 update in 2018, Screen Time is a set of time-management features available to users of the Apple iPhone and iPad. Screen Time displays usage analytics for every app on the device, and has several options for combating smartphone addiction. Users can create limits that lock apps from being used after a specified time limit is reached. Also, Screen Time can be used with iCloud, allowing parents to monitor app usage and create limits for child accounts linked through the iCloud service.

To enable Screen Time, make sure your device is running iOS 12 or iPadOS 12, and open the Settings app. In the app, all Screen Time features can be enabled, disabled, and customized.
