Waze

Originally known as FreeMap Israel, Waze is a mobile GPS (Global Positioning System) navigation application for iOS and Android smartphones. It was created in 2006 and purchased by Google in June 2013. The app has step-by-step navigation directions, accident reports, traffic information, police sightings, and other information to get drivers to their destinations more efficiently. This information is submitted by users of the app and appears on the map for others.

The Waze app is available for free on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
