MS-DOS and Windows command line ver command

ver command

Ver is an internal command that is available in the following Microsoft operating systems.

Ver syntax

Displays the MS-DOS version.


Ver examples


Displays what version of MS-DOS or Windows command prompt you're using. Below is an example of what you could expect to see if you used this command in Windows XP.
