Android File Transfer

Android File Transfer is a free application for macOS that was developed by Google. It allows Macintosh computers to view, modify, and download files from an Android smartphone or tablet via USB cable. This application is not available for Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS devices, because the feature is included by default in these operating systems.

How does it work?

To use Android File Transfer, plug your device into a Macintosh computer with the USB data cable provided with your Android device, and then open the Android File Transfer application. The program should automatically detect your device and prompt you to unlock it. Once unlocked, the file browser menu opens, allowing you to access the files on the device.
