Sony released several models of the Memory Stick, including the Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick Micro (M2), and Memory Stick PRO-HG. Memory Sticks' capacity ranges in sizes from 4 MB to 256 GB, with a theoretical maximum capacity of 2 TB. The picture shows examples of the different types of Sony Memory Sticks.
Today, Sony digital cameras use SD (Secure Digital) and SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) memory cards; with no new cards released since 2010, the Sony Memory Stick is considered discontinued.
